Platform: Scratch
Course will focus on writing applications from scratch. We don't just rely on platforms to change parameters in the game,
we actually code sequentially through logical steps. Students will acquire general skills such as problem solving, teamwork,
code debugging, and most importantly, all students will learn and practice the logical thinking skills required for any level of
computer programming!
Additionally, students will acquire and practice important coding concepts, which may include:
Variables,
Loops,
And If/Then logic
Cartesian coordinates and Sprite movement
Event detection
scoring and Game design
Simple math logic and more!
